Viscose Crinkle Crepe - Alpine Adventures is a cool feel, breathable dressmaking dream that boasts all the usual characteristics of a quality light-medium crepe. Suitable for full gathered style dresses or classic blouse and top styles and features a fabulously vintage/retro printed design of Alpine tourism Postcards. A vibrant orange/red background sports the printed postcards of famous tourist destinations - depicted in pastel hues of lemon, pale blue, black and hints of terracotta. These nostalgic images are accentuated by pretty Edelweiss flowers and tiny butterflies.

Featuring a lightly textured grainy feel, yet still soft and boasting a carefree (pre crinkled) appearance, this fabulously nostalgic printed fabric has a delicious reassuringly weighty drape, perfect for a multitude of dressmaking purposes. Take yourself on a whistle-stop trip around the Alps with this delightfully retro viscose crepe fabric.

Alpine Adventures will make stand-alone pieces such as retro tea/sundresses, shirt-dresses and playsuit/jumpsuit styles. Statement shirts and elegant blouses in classic retro styles will look wonderful in this fabric. It's perfect for basic T-shirt style slashed neck tops and kimono-style wraps. Use this versatile fabric to dress up your jeans for a quick smart/casual look and you will certainly be in a holiday mood!
