Lightweight pure linen, created from fine-medium gauge yarns, in an open flat weave, that produces some translucence and a light airy look and feel - like light wispy clouds. Akin to cheesecloth and heavy muslin fabric, finely crosshatched, striated and slubby throughout, this matte finish lightweight linen is stable, slightly crisp, yet will drape at length and soften with wash & wear. Perfect for overshirts, longline jackets with deep side vents, simple tops, styles with pleats, gathers, smocking, etc that create fullness for romantic bohemian, peasant, and folk styles
