L'Ombré Haute - Check Wool Blend is a super stylish ex-designer deadstock jacket weight fabric with a very graphic 'high' style. The shaded hazy squares of the check create the impression of mysterious lengthening shadows.
Two-toned graphic checks have been fashion favourite for decades. The monotone tessellated design of houndstooth checks was seen as a status symbol for the upper classes to mark their arrival to the style scene. Christian Dior was one of the first to popularize these iconic fabric designs when his S/S designs hit the runway in 1948.
